This is the tutorial that I wrote as my final assignment for
the second step in my Stepping Stones in PSP course.
I used PSP 9
to create this image.
You will also need these two tubes
The Flower Doodle used in this tut is from Heartprints Digital Design.
Once unzipped, open the tubes in your work area and click on the _ in the top right
corner to reduce them.
Now, on with the fun stuff :)...
Open a new image of the size 600 x 400, transparent background.
Right click on the top of the “bouquet” tube, then click on “Copy.” Right click on the
top of your new image, move your cursor over the word “Paste,” and click on “Paste
as new layer.” Move this new layer to the far left/bottom corner of your new image
so that none of the transparency is showing through.
Right click on the layer in your layer palette and click on “Duplicate” on the menu
that appears.
Then, click on “Image,” on the menu that is at the top of your workspace and then
click on “Mirror.”
Right click on this new layer in your layer palette and “Duplicate” it. Click on
“Image,” “Flip.”
Click on this new layer in your layer palette and “Duplicate” it. Click on “Image,” “Mirror.” Paste a copy of
the bouquet into the center of your image, right click on this layer, move your cursor over “Merge” and then
click on “Merge Visible.”
Click on “Adjust,” “Blur,” “Radial” and use these settings:
Your image should now look like this:
